140/92

Oh boy... The title of this post is my blood pressure reading. For those who know how it reads, you know that I'm suffering from this. For those who do not know...:

What do the numbers mean?
Blood pressure is really two measurements, separated by a slash when written down, such as 120/80. You may also hear someone say a blood pressure is "120 over 80."The first number is the systolic blood pressure. This is the peak blood pressure when your heart is squeezing blood out. The second number is the diastolic blood pressure. It's the pressure when your heart is filling with blood--relaxing between beats.A normal blood pressure is 120/80 or lower. High blood pressure is 140/90 or higher. If your blood pressure is between 120/80 and 140/90, you have something called "prehypertension."

So guess what the experts suggest for lifestyle changes:

1.Don't smoke cigarettes or use any tobacco product.
2.Lose weight if you're overweight.
3.Exercise regularly.
4.Eat a healthy diet that includes lots of fruits and vegetables and is low in fat.
5.Limit your sodium, alcohol and caffeine intake.
6.Try relaxation techniques or biofeedback.

Think My major prob is 5 & 6, need to eat less high sodium food (eat less high...haha oxymoron)
and less caffeine (coke and coffee you culprits!!) and destress more...meaning you people stop stressing me!! hahahaha. Take things easy ....I'm still so young.
